When I opened the door for my EDP Tween program, I had no idea that 1) many of the girls would know each other and 2) they would all share the same name! I accepted on eight girls and two of them were named Mackenzie, and three were Sophie/Sophia. What are the odds?!
Both of my Mackenzie’s opted for a personal portrait session. This Mackenzie is a Leonard and I feel like I’m becoming a part of this family’s life! In the last year, I have photographed Mackenzie’s older sister, Natalie, four times, Mackenzie three times and the whole family once! It’s been a true blessing as I adore this family! They are genuinely kind, and we understand each other’s crazy lives! We are also both heavily involved in ministries through our churches, which is in and of itself a special bond.
Mackenzie has just kick started her freshman year of high school at Alton High! I do recall that I was quite awkward looking as a freshman in high school. I still has braces…and bangs. And I can assure you I did not look this good! Thank you to all of the Leonards for inviting me into your lives! XOXO
