“Madelyn is a very involved in her high school, O’Fallon Township. One of her passions is music and performance. She is a captain for the show choir, member of the Chamber choir, and a member of the vocal jazz ensemble. She has performed in the traditional, school wide talent show for multiple years where she has arranged her own vocal performances. She is also an honors student, taking rigorous courses in order to become a nurse. She is an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in O’Fallon where she participates in the youth group and helps out with the onsite preschool when she can.
“Not only is Madelyn beautiful on the outside, but she is even more beautiful on the inside. She is a strong role model for 4 young children that she regularly babysits, and she selflessly gives up most of her weekends to help out the family. She also reaches out to the community by using her gift of singing, performing at local nursing homes and schools. As I mentioned before, she is an active member of her youth group where she has served on mission trips to Chicago, Nashville, and Peoria to rebuild homes after a devastating tornado. She loves kids and has a true passion for helping others. That is why she wants to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse. She loves her family, is a loyal friends, and a true servant for God.” -Leah Bossart
