Last fall, I had the privilege of second shooting for Jessica Lauren at Cedar Lake Cellars. It was such a relaxed, joy-filled day. We met up at the bridal house where Becky, her mom and all of her bridesmaids were getting ready. Then, the ceremony and reception were all at one venue (Cedar Lake Cellars), so we had ample time for bride and groom portraits. Ben and Becky opted for a first look (my favorite!), which gave us 45 minutes or so to take their photos. The sun was beaming down on them all day long and it made for some amazing light streaming through the trees both before and after the ceremony.
Shooting alongside Jessica was a treat! I’ve been following her work on Instagram for quite some time! She’s built an incredible wedding business at a very young age, but what I love most about her is the undeniable love she has for Jesus. Jessica doesn’t shy away from sharing her faith online so that drew me in from the start. The heart she has for prison ministry is inspiring and uplifting. And now she’s engaged and marrying a youth pastor. Obviously, it’s easy for me to love her!
I didn’t take the time to edit an entire wedding that wasn’t mine because well, AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT. So I hope you enjoy the few I did edit. They’re SO pretty!
