EDP VIP Midcentury Model Shoot | Alton, IL Senior Photographer

Something you may not know about me is that I’m notorious for planning sessions on bad weather days. Several years ago, I planned my first ever VIP shoot with tons of props. I had collected a myriad of tea party pros including lacy table cloths, cakes and cake stands, tea cup china, flowers, etc. I had 10 VIPs and multiple HMUAs lined up for this shoot and I knew it would be impossible to reschedule. Thank goodness this was right before Post Commons turned in to Post Commons and John Simmons let us in the building (yay John!).

That same year, I had to reschedule the same girl’s session 5 TIMES mostly due to heat.

And that’s not including all the VIP sessions that have had rain before, during and after the session.

This year I wanted at least one session in a controlled environment. I saw this adorable space on Instagram and knew I had to have it. And guess what? It RAINED on the day of the session! Ha!
I hope you enjoy one of the cutest sessions ever.
