I don’t know who started this trend, but I’m thankful for they did. The day-to-day hustle and bustle of parenting can often result rob of us the reality that they aren’t little for very long! It is surreal to think I’ve been a mom for 8 years already. Kopelan is transitioning out of diapers and it’s becoming increasingly apparent that there are no more babies in our house (well, except for Ollie!).
The changes in these pictures are painful. Caison is looking less and less like my little boy every day. He’s growing out of his clothes and shoes at rapid speed and wanting to do big kid things every chance he gets. Kadence is no longer my baby girl, but my sweet little girl who is maturing at the speed of lightning. They both made me burst with pride as they soared through the school year getting rave reviews from both of their teachers. Caison was recognized last week for being the top reader in his class and for making the Accelerated Reader Wall of Fame. We were also notified that Kadence did amazing on her end of the year testing and received the highest reading score in her class as well. I have my husband to thank for their academics because school was definitely not my strong suit!
In other news, Kopelan is doing so well at daycare three days a week. He has graduated from speech, developmental and occupational therapy and is now talking up a storm! He works really hard to keep up with his big brother and wants to tag along in everything Caison does.
The Lord has blessed us with these three beautiful babes. I’m so grateful to be their mom!
